Objectives for the WBL Coordinator Group:

1. Sharing Best Practices: Coordinators can showcase their current WBL programs, highlighting what’s working well and offering insights into overcoming common challenges.
2. Developing Partnerships: Schools and districts can brainstorm ways to build stronger ties with local businesses, industries, and community organizations to create more and better opportunities for students.
3. Curriculum Integration: Discuss methods for integrating WBL into the academic curriculum, ensuring students receive both practical experiences and academic credit for their work-based learning efforts.
4. Student Career Readiness: Focus on how to equip students with job-ready skills, through both in-class preparation and hands-on experiences.
5. Collaboration and Networking: Create opportunities for coordinators to collaborate and build networks with peers from other districts and schools, fostering a supportive community of practice.
6. Unique Program Ideas: Allow for the sharing of innovative and unique WBL programs or initiatives that might be adapted to different districts.
7. Evaluation and Growth: Work together to create methods for evaluating the effectiveness of WBL programs and scaling successful initiatives.
